Nauticol is committed to building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities in the vicinity of our projects. Our relationships are guided by our core values of respect, integrity and responsibility. Our approach is grounded in early and ongoing dialogue, mutual sharing of information, and achieving mutually beneficial solutions that minimize potential adverse effects and maximize opportunities and mutual benefits.
Nauticol is proud that it is forging an innovative and mutually beneficial relationship with members of the nearby Western Cree Tribal Council:
We are please to have reached a Memorandum of Understanding with these First Nations whose communities are closely situated to our Grande Prairie project. The equity interest contemplated under this arrangement is intended to provide long term economic benefits to these communities and an active role in the project’s development and future operations.
“We work collaboratively and responsibly, establishing long-lasting relationships, and create opportunities for meaningful engagement with our community and the Indigenous Peoples. Nauticol is committed to building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities.”
