With more than 30 years of experience through financial, government and investment sectors, Leo has led executive leadership with financial institutions based in Canada, the U.S, Japan and Australia, including the Bank of Canada, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). He has served as an advisor to Norway’s Pension Plan, and served on the Investment Committee of Dutch pension fund APG, in addition to leading numerous government economic panels. Leo earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
Rob is President and CEO of Matrix Solutions Inc., an environmental consulting company located in Calgary, Alberta. He has over 22 years of experience as an environmental consultant to the oil and gas industry supporting project design, regulatory approval and operations. A professional engineer, Rob earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
Bruce has over 30 years’ experience as a business leader and portfolio manager in the asset management and investment banking industries. He started his career in Canada, and has worked in the UK, Italy and the U.S. Bruce manages PBJ Capital, a private venture capital fund investing in early stage technology companies. He is a Founder and Chairman of Arrowstreet Capital, an institutional asset management firm with over $100 billion in assets under management. Prior to stepping down from an executive role in 2015, Bruce was CEO and Executive Chairman of Arrowstreet. He has an MBA from the London Business School, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
With over 35 years of experience in the energy and oil & gas sectors, Randy currently serves as Chairman of Bow River Energy and Leap Energy Solutions. As past President & CEO of EnCana Corporation, Randy’s strategic leadership transformed one of Canada’s largest energy companies into one of North America’s primary producers of unconventional natural gas and bitumen resources. With a calculated, focused approach, Randy has been responsible for the design, oversight, and implementation of large-scale gas storage and SAGD facilities, multiple oil & gas field developments, and several large corporate and property acquisitions across both Canada and the United States.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and a Diploma in Geology from NAIT. He is also a recognized member of APEGA and the World President Organization.
Mark has over 25 years of experience and leadership in both the finance sector and the energy industry. Prior to co-founding Nauticol in 2016, Mark had a 20-year career with General Electric where he was the President of GE Energy’s investing business in Canada. During his time at GE, Mark led the development, investment and construction of several billion dollars of energy infrastructure projects across Canada.
Mark is an innovator, and he has built a reputation around his high level of collaboration and inclusiveness with a broad group of partners and stakeholders. He was born in England, but has spent most of his life in Canada and now calls Calgary home.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan.
